No matter how she was feeling, Varya knew she had to press on.

The day after accidentally making her way towards the prince's room, she stood in front of a full length mirror as servants dressed her in what she was to wear to her wedding with Ebari.

All day she had been trying to get the uneasiness out of her stomach, but it never went away fully.

She felt it was ridiculous to be sad that her marriage wouldn't be with someone she was in love with. After all, it seemed to be normal for the ruling class to have arranged marriages. Her and Ebari would mutually benefit from this and she had to take that into consideration above everything else.

Unbeknownst to her, Ebari was in his quarters having the same thought process that he deemed to be ridiculous.
