Pushing through the hospital doors with frustration etched on his face, Jace's eyes scanned the bustling lobby, searching for any sign of Grace.
All he saw were nurses rushing by, patients being wheeled in on gurneys, and families huddled in clusters, their faces etched with concern.
How was he going to locate her in this place without her phone?
When he had been waiting in the car, he had called her line to ask what was still keeping her but was disappointed to hear the phone ringing beside him.

"I can't keep on waiting like this and I can't leave her all alone here either. There must be a way to reach her."
He pulled out his phone to make a call.
