章 314: A Little Gift From Me

The next four days passed in the twinkle of an eye but within those four days, Jace aleaus left very early in the mornings while Grace was still busy in the kitchen with breakfast… Yes, she was still the one preparing breakfast for Jace as he'd ordered since the day he tasted the special breakfast she had prepared for Charles.

But he always left instructions for the breakfast to be packed in a warmer and for Jordan, Charles's driver, to deliver the packed breakfast to his office after dropping Charles at the kindergarten. 

By the time he'd return in the evening everyone would have been asleep. The only sign Grace got that he always returned to the mansion was his Lincoln Navigator she'd see parked in its space very early in the morning when she checks from her window. 

When she could no longer bear his absence and unnerving silence, she called to find out what was going on, but Suresh had been the one to answer the phone with the excuse that the boss was busy.
