Lucas rubbed his sleeping sisters to keep them from waking up. He looked so happy and loved them both so much. Amanda was happy to see him, but she also felt something else.
"Lucas," she called.
"Yes, Mama?"
"Want to draw a picture with Mama? We'll make a picture to put in Arabella and Rosabelle's room," Amanda replied.
She wanted to talk and spend time with Lucas since she had been so busy with the twins lately. Amanda knew that Lucas loved to draw, so she invited her son to draw together.
Lucas nodded and picked up his colored pencils and drawing book. They drew while sitting together on the carpet next to the sleeping twins.
"What did Lucas learn at school?" asked Amanda as she drew on the same paper as Lucas.
"At school Lucas learned multiplication and division, it looks difficult but if Lucas memorizes every multiplication it will be easy," he replied.
"Oh really? Did you memorize it?"
