It did not take too long for the two periods of the lessons to pass. Just as the next lesson was about to start, Ling Yun stood up from his seat abruptly after he received a text from Tang Meng.

"Please do not skip this lesson. Please!" Cao Shanshan pleaded Ling Yun earnestly.

"Hey girl, of course, I won't. I'll just be heading outside for a short talk with Tang Meng. I promise I'll be back before the end of this lesson".

"Make sure you keep your promise!" Cao Shanshan uttered softly.

Showing an 'OK' hand sign to his gorgeous tablemate, Ling Yun made his way out of the classroom.

Yesterday night, Tang Meng was hanging out with Li Qingchuan and his gang at CashBox Nightclub until three past midnight. He was so drunk he only woke up when the sun rose! He went to the school gate straight afterward.

However, he did not enter the school. He messaged Ling Yun to come out and discuss the bet they planned.
