The night passed, and dawn soon arrived, signaling another day in the Trial of Parazonium arrived.
Baiyi's Kitty Cat Maid had woken up extra early. She let out a jaw-breaking yawn as she entered her office, setting the student's performance record book wide on her desk. Squeezing her eyes a little, she mustered her attention to the screens and observed the students' state in the morning to award them points for last night's performance.
One may raise an eyebrow at the idea of assessing past performance based on their present state in the morning, but it was logical. How refreshed and spirited these students were in the morning allowed Attie to infer the experience they had last night. Was it a pleasant rest? Were they forced to tussle with the Jawflower? Or perhaps they suffered an attack from some other nocturnal natives?
[1] “Discouraging individualistic heroics”? Kinda weird coming from the Voidwalkers. They are LITERALLY a group of individuals who each pursuit paragon and perfection of their respective fields and dominate everyone else, aren’t they? The Voidwalkers are only banded together because they were all thrown into the Void and now totally want out of their mother’s basement. Hell, Baiyi himself is the ultimate “heroic individual” — when has he ever needed to win a fight through the power of friendship? Dude can solo a s*** ton of maps, man.
[2] Mia: “Are all of you dark-skinned girls always so gentle and good at taking care of everyone~?”
Me: … :)))
You know what that statement sounds like to me? It’s like hearing someone says that all Chinese can do kung-fu WHILE doing math, or that all Indians know how to control chakra, or that Japanese katana is the sharpest sword EVER, or that all wrinkled old men with a long uncombed beard donning a robe and losing some teeth are all wise ages. Man, her brain is even more loli than her body.

Oh, and totally unrelated to the chapter and it’s only here because I’m listening to it while working — um, Rotting Christ’s Devadevam is AMAZING. I loop it for three rounds, even though I HATE looping songs in general (it takes away the flavor and feeling in each iteration). I was wondering… do any of you True Believers like songs like that?
