This excursion — the first one that Mia was in charge of — had already turned troublesome. If all Mia had had to do was smoothen out some trivial issues and conflicts, then that would have been okay by her; however, the moment Modred returned from scouting, Mia realized that things were about to take a huge turn for the worse.
The fairies had been right. There was a small group of undead creatures in the realm, albeit far away from where the group from Da Xue had set up camp.
"Is this realm a lich's hiding spot?" Mia frowned. "But Mr. Hope checked this place out before, didn't he? He encountered no problems!"
[1] Is Aya even Baiyi’s partner? I thought she was just someone who really wanted to be his girl (out of some delusion typical of a really shielded young girl), did not actually (???), yet managed to stay around anyway. The whole reason why Mordred called Baiyi “Papa” or whatever was really Mordred jumping on the gun; Aya started from trying to correct her to gradually allowing it to fulfill her own fantasies of being Baiyi’s wife (Man, these two are whacks). She was never his girlfriend or anything in the first place, so where’s that whole betrayal talk coming from?
[2] The girls secretly wished that their father figure would love them as a wife one day? Wow, I stand corrected; ALL of them are whacks!
[3] Nah, mind not changed. She a whack. XDDDD
[4] ARE YOU SERIOUS?! Did your self-awareness not experience any growth during these ten years? You’re so thick with the stench of wangst, I had to air my laptop under the sun. Oh, yea. It’s one of the words you never knew you needed, this “wangst”. Google it (>_*).
[5] Oh my god the amount of snarks I had for this long chapter! Baiyi, are you forgetting that you’re basically stealing Mia from her real father? Gee I now see where that streak of low self-awareness in Mia might have come from…
