Gu Xijiu was surprised that her exhaustion did not get her through a good night's sleep. After a few twists and turns, she still could not fall back to sleep.

She uncurled her body with a wide stretch and sat right up. Maybe it was time to give Di Fuyi a call. Although the man would probably be asleep, she could not resist giving him a call. There were things that she needed to talk to him about. 

It only took a second for Di Fuyi to pick up the call. "What is the matter?" His voice sounded a little hoarse like he had just woken up.

"Fuyi, do you regret your decision?" Gu Xijiu hesitantly asked.

"Regret what decision?"

"Regret putting on a show with me."

"So what if I do? And what if I don't?" Di Fuyi answered somewhat ambiguously.
