Qingfeng Li felt the power of the underwater monsters using his spiritual energy – each of them were at the Spirit King Realm or even higher.

If he wasn't protected by the Black Tortoise's light veil, Qingfeng Li would have died for sure.

A few hours later, the Ice Island, protected by the Black Tortoise, surfaced from the ocean.

The light veil disappeared as they emerged from the waters, and the Black Tortoise returned to the bottom of the sea. It was the protector of the space plane, and therefore couldn't be away for long.
