Mount Tai is known as the head of the Five Great Mountains of China. Today, Mount Tai is listed as both a natural and cultural heritage site by UNESCO thanks to its scenic beauty and countless Buddhist and Taoist Temples doting its mountain roads.
Naturally, Mount Tai isn't the highest mountain in China, not by a long short, but who cares about facts when you have feelings, right? Either way, the cultural significance of Mount Tai cannot be understated and is synonymous to anything great or imposing.
