章 5: 5 Forever Marriage Contract

Celine looked at Dominic for a while, she wondered if he was really alright. He was acting crazy and has been saying strange words ever since.

"You're driving me crazy, please stop this!" She warned him with a serious face.

Dominic walked to his drawer and brought out the documents Celine had signed yesterday. He handed it over to her and when she read it, she gasped as she was shocked beyond measure.

She looked up and yelled, "I only signed a business agreement for you to grant the loan and not this. How on earth did it turn into a forever Marriage contract!"

Dominic chuckled and tucked his hands in his pockets. "This is what you signed yesterday, darling. You agreed to be my wife and the contract cannot be broken, you'll be mine forever." He whispered into her ear.

Celine broke down in tears and pushed her away. She had said it that this man was dangerous! No wonder she doesn't want to have anything to do with him in the first instance.

Why is her life so full of troubles? First, she was living in fear of being harassed by the loansharks and now she's married to a man she barely knows- this is even worse!

"You fooled me and I can never forgive you for this!"

Dominic moved closer, grabbing her waist and Celine pushed him away. Why was he so fond of grabbing her by the waist?!

Dominic pulled her closer and placed a kiss on her neck. "You pervert! How could you?" She seethed.

Dominic brought out a diamond ring box from his inner pocket, he took the ring and slipped it into Celine's fourth finger.

"You should never take that ring off your finger. I don't want anyone to snatch you away from me because you're only for me and I'm serious about this. Always put if on!" He told her seriously.

Celine tried to remove the ring but he held her hand. "Don't Celine! Don't take it off! I want to see it on you every time!" He declared.

Celine wept more, her life had been ruined just in a matter of days! Dominic who was touched by her tears, wiped it with his handkerchief.

"Cry no more, my love. I hate to see this way."

"CEO Dom….."

"Do not doubt my love for you. I promise to protect and cherish you all my days. I'll give you anything you want, Celine. You're my world." He said as their gaze locked.

"You're going to work at the HR department." Dominic said and went to take his seat. "And if you know you don't want to do anything, you can stay with me for the whole day, I wouldn't mind." Dominic told her.

Celine shook her head, she wanted to leave his sight so quickly. She might just end up strangling him to death.

"Please take me to the department already."

"Well... I'm willing to pay for your debts, forget about what I said. You're my wife so I should take responsibility of you."

"You don't have to, I'll work and pay you back."

"I insist, but you can still remain in the company."

"Are you going to listen to me?"

Dominic looked up from his laptop. "I appreciate your opinion but I'm going to pay off the debts. It's my responsibility." He repeated.

Celine kept quiet and slowly nodded. "Please take me to my department."

Seconds turned into minutes and minutes in hours, slowly the day passed by and now it was closing hours. Celine yawned and picked up her bag then stood up from her cubicle.

"Goodbye, Ms Lane." The others greeted and she waved at them. Not everyone in the department liked her but she cared less.

She walked out of the building and when she got outside, someone pulled her into a hug. She was familiar with the cologne and when she realized it was Dominic, she tried pushing him away but he only tightened the hug.

"How was your day?"

"Great without you." Celine blurted out.

"Really? Are you sure you didn't miss me?" He teased her.

"How can I ever miss the man who fooled me, I'm not that stupid!" She hit him on the chest. "Let go of me, people are watching."

Dominic looked around and indeed people were staring at them. He knew a rumour about them would soon break out but he doesn't care about it, at least they can't say it to his face.

"Let's go out for dinner." He told her as he dragged her along to his car.

Celine slapped away his hand. "I'm not going with you."

"Are you aware that you're going to pack into my house soon?"

"I'm not staying with you!"

"Well, you will and that'll be tomorrow. I'll send my men to pack up for you. And tomorrow, you'll take me to those loansharks. I don't want anyone to harass my wife."

"Please let me leave now." Celine told him.

"Come in." He opened the door and gestured to her to enter. Celine tried to hesitate and he interrupted her.

"If you don't come in now, I'll kiss you in front everyone."

"You pervert!"

"There are other suitable romantic names to call me."

"Pervert, crazy, idiot, which one?"

"None of them suits me. I'm too handsome to be addressed that way. It won't be bad if you call my honey or your prince charming." He smiled and patted her hair.

Celine scoffed and slapped his hand. "And you think I'll agree on that?"

"Well, I'll count up to three and if you don't come in, I'll kiss you."

Franklin who was in the car, kept wondering what has come over his boss. Dominic had never smiled or act romantic towards any lady as Celine.

'Boss must really love her.' He thought.

"Hey!"

"Three…" Dominic counted.

Celine tightened her fists, wasn't he supposed to count from one?

"I'll go in now." She finally said, rolling her eyes at him. She wasn't going to allow him kiss her in public.

Dominic smiled proudly as he got in too.

"What about dinner together?"

Celine shook her head. "Not interested."

"How about shopping?"

"I'm not interested." She said through gritted teeth. Dominic pecked her cheeks.

"Baby, are you angry at me?"

"Don't kiss me without my permission!" She hit him and wiped her forehead.

Franklin who was watching them through the rear mirror, grinned. 'Boss is so romantic.'

"I love you." Dominic whispered into her ear.

"I hate you!" She said, folding her arms.

Dominic rubbed his chest. "That hurts."

"Who cares?" Celine shrugged indifferently.

Silence reigned for a while and only the sound of the car's engine could be heard.

Celine could hear noises and it was coming from a gathering which was few metres away. It was a festival and there was a trade fair.

Celine's eyes lit up, she had always loved to attend a festival like this and her dream was to go to the trade fair with someone she loves but… She paused and looked at Dominic. He's not the man she love, not at all. He's just a cheat!

But she really wanted to attend festival. She looked at Dominic who wasn't even paying attention to her. She opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out, so she kept quiet.

"What's with that pout?" Dominic suddenly asked.

"I..I..want to..the festival." She pointed outside.

"Really? You should tell me anything ayou want to do, be more open to me. You're my wife."

Celine rolled her eyes at him. "I'm not your wife!"

"Hmm…" Dominic paused and looked at her. "Do you know how much I love you, Celine?"
