I fanned myself with hand. I woke up this morning and everywhere was hot. Bethany and I were seated on my bed and I was rummaging through my new box of clothes. I had some things that I wanted to give her, things I saved for her.

"I got you this dress. I didn't know if I would see you again but I saved it for you." I said as I pulled out a black floor length dress. She took it from my hand and held it up to scan it.

"I'm going to wear it for the annual ball. I'm so excited." Bethany squealed and I laughed. I pulled out a book and began to rapid fan myself. It felt like my body was on fire. I knew what was wrong with me. I had woken up to heat and my breast felt fuller than normal. There was no denying it. I was on heat. "Aren't you meant to plan the annual ball? You're Jax's mate."
