I glanced up at the sword as it was hauled back into the water, now repaired with the mahogany-ish wood that seemed to be the only common hardwood here. The repairs were obvious though well done, clashing with the rest of the white hull due to their color.

The men were carrying and loading now refilled crates of supplies into the ship under the watchful eyes of both Captain Aurane and his parrot, and at this rate, we would be ready to depart in just a few hours.

Fort Virginia, a name I had insisted on both for a bit of nostalgia and for the fact that I was tentatively naming this archipelago the "Maiden Isles". I had thought of naming them after my potential betrothed, but that seemed Tactless, and besides, I knew fairly well that one of them was likely no virgin.

The Fort itself was a small structure, a hastily assembled Barracks surrounded by twelve-foot wooden walls with towers on the corners, overlooking the mouth of the small bay that our ships were docked at. To most, it would look like crap, but with the resources I had, it might well someday be the guardian at the gates to the first city of this new Carribean that I had discovered.

It might be a small outpost at the edge of the frontier now, but it wouldn't be forever.

I raised an eyebrow as Asha walked out of the gate, I had wondered why she wasn't harassing me this morning. She had clearly just walked out of bed by the fact that her hair was looking more like a rats nest than its usual. "Finally up I see, and just in time for mid-morning." I pulled my comb out of an interior pocket on my jacket. "You could at least take the time to make yourself presentable."

"To who? You? The men I don't know on an Island a thousand leagues South of my Father's castle? I'm not looking to be a pretty whore."

Despite her touch words, she reached out and grabbed the comb, wincing a little bit as a snap of charge jumped to her finger.

"I thought you stopped doing that?" She asked as she began straightening the tangled mass on top of her head. "Something about rubbing dirt on yourself."

"Yes, we'll I ground myself every half hour or so, but that doesn't mean I don't carry a small charge between them." It would be a minor inconvenience for the time being, but I had to admit that my apparent transformation into an electric eel was somewhat worrying. Aurane at least had taken it in stride, saying he had seen odder things at sea, and the men mercifully followed his lead and Asha? Well, she was essentially attached to me personally as long as she was on my boat, so aside from some teasing over it, I hadn't gotten accused of witchcraft or anything serious. No, the real danger was what it was doing to my body, and how people at home would react. The court didn't matter much, they had little power over my naval enterprise, but My parents? Shireen and Edric? Arianne? These were all open questions, and dangerous ones to boot.

"Here." I turned back towards the woman, who was handing me my comb back. "So, we getting off this rock today then?"

"Yep," I said, smirking slightly. "Don't worry, we'll get you back to your cold, grey islands soon enough."

"And here I was just getting used to the weather." The Greyjoy snarked. "Hey, princeling…"

"Yes?"

"Will you sell me a Ship?"

I turned to look up at her, trying to read her face, but she continued staring up at the sky inscrutably. I wasn't sure where the question had come from.

"I don't think I can, not if you're going to use it for reaving." She frowned at that, sighing and turning her head away from me. "Besides, I'm not sure what you'd have to offer for one, ships aren't cheap."

"I know it's just-" she said quickly, before clamping her mouth shut, and turning back towards me, looking me in the eye. I was actually a little surprised she wasn't crying, though there was clearly distress in her voice. "It's just that if I return to Pike having lost a ship on my first voyage and come back with nothing, well… I doubt I'll ever be anything more than a rock wife again. I don't even have my Uncles blasted corpse."

She scanned my face as if looking for something, before turning to gaze down. "I know it's a bit much to ask, and you've put up with me enough already, but I need a ship. I'll do anything you want."

"Alright stop now." I put a hand on your shoulder with a slight crackle that made her jump. "Before you offer to whore yourself out or some nonsense."

She made no action to stop me, and I suspected I was dead on with what she was offering, but she only stood in silence waiting for me to continue. I suppressed a sigh. Westerosi thought with their genitals far too much. Anyone who took that offer would be a fool, simply because there was a better one to be made by anyone with a brain.

"There is something I'd be willing to give you a ship for. But here isn't the place to discuss it." I gestured at the sword. "My cabin should be refurbished at this point. We can discuss it inside." I turned to stare up at the woman, meeting her unsure gaze. "I'm no horndog like my uncle, but don't think it will be cheap either."

As I grabbed her hand, ignoring the crackle of discharge, she made a questioning noise.

"What's a Horndog?
