章 55: Reunion

Hido's class passed like a blur. Because Kai was late, Hido thought he wouldn't be able to get through his lesson plans that day. Fortunately, Kai had a beyond natural affinity for the class and easily grasped the research techniques Hido taught him.

Now it was time for the next period, and before he even got there Kai knew it was going to be boring.

'Why the hell do I need to learn about taming? My corruption skill does that just fine for me!'

He paused for a second, suddenly stopping in front of a student who promptly yelled, "Hey!"

'Well, maybe it would be best if they didn't know the full extent of my abilities. If I just show up and corrupt an SSS-Rank beast that would paint a pretty big target on my back.'

Kai nodded, having found the tiniest bit of motivation. However, even that left shortly as Kai hung his head in the air silently screaming, 'This class is going to be torture!'
