With a proud smile on his face and almost all his burdens lifted, he felt free for the first time in years.
Looking at his two sons, who had made that possible, his smile grew even wider.
"I must have done a really great deed in my past life for you two to turn out so well," their father said as he signed the agreement form.
There wasn't much for the family to do afterward other than catching up with one another.
As for the guards and entourage that had accompanied him, David dismissed most of them to a nearby hotel.
There was no reason to stress them when he was having a good time. However, in exchange for his demand, there were now three extra family members staying in the guest room.
The next day, the family could be seen standing in front of the house as the guards loaded some of their mother's belongings into the car.
"Nwoke m, you didn't pack anything?" their mother asked.
