章 48: SURPRISE VISIT

"By the way, Harlow, is it strange that this black car has been following us since the Mall?" Lay asked nervously.

Harlow glanced behind them and immediately recognized the familiar black car. Her chest tightened, her father must have sent his spies to watch her.

"Take us to the Hamilton residence," she instructed the chauffeur without hesitation. The driver nodded and smoothly turned the car around.

Harlow had no other option. Returning to her apartment was too risky, the last thing she wanted was for her father's goons to find out where she stayed. She couldn't go to Lay's place either, her father would destroy Lay's family without a second thought. For now, she needed to throw him off her trail, and the Hamiltons' home was the perfect cover.

If her father believed the Hamiltons were supporting her, he would think twice before taking action. After all, Claudia was engaged to marry into their family.
