Vera's sharp eyes could be seen scanning the surroundings, her instincts on alert even as she rides in relative silence, her vigilance never dropped for a second and honed to the bone.

The priests march with solemn purpose, their golden emblems glinting in the sunlight.

"You're certain you found nothing in that dungeon, soldier?" The high priest Darius, who was the group leader, said in a stern voice.

"I've already said it. I was looking for my brother, found nothing, and left. If I'd known you lot would make this much fuss, I wouldn't have bothered going in." Vera said mockingly

"Mind your tone. The Priesthood Guild does not tolerate lies, especially when one of our own has been unjustly struck down." Darius said with a glance.

"Oh, forgive me, Holy One. I wasn't aware sarcasm was a sin now."
