Seth's mind raced as he absorbed the information relayed by his dungeon.
The rival dungeon master had played his hand, sacrificing resources to summon a pseudo Tier 5 Guardian, an opponent so formidable it seemed impossible to win head-on.
The Poison Goblin stood still watching closely and eagerly at the Guardian.
With a swipe of sword the guardian dispersed most of the poison fog though it posed no effect to it apart from clouding it's view.
The Poison Goblin grunted at the sight of this.
The guardian stood at the same height with itself.
About ten meters away from each other and on the Guardian's side was the dungeon core.
Its eyes nonexistent as only a black smoke seemed to emit from it.
A thorough body of black lined with the graciousness of a knight wearing a helmet and light armor.
They both stood still opposing each other and all of a sudden the Poison Goblin started chewing on what was wrapped around it's fist.
Each second faster as it looked like a monster for real now.
Each moment it ate the material wrapped around it's fist was a moment closer to knowing what it was.
Not until it finished eating and threw the last bit into its mouth which just happened to be a head of a lizard like monster.
That was when it clicked Seth that what it had been using was the skin of the lizard like monster they first saw.
A chill ran up Seth's spine.
Had he created a real monster?
'We're goblins always this brutal?'
How did he defeat it so soon, this didn't cross Seth's mind before at the heat of battle.
But now he had to hesitate a little before convincing himself that it was with him now and fought for him, so there was no need for doubt.
Instead there was confidence brewing.
The obvious strategy here to Seth would be to hold out untill the elite shade can recover a little more and then in a single swift strike shatter the dungeon core.
Until then, the situation is not leaning towards his advantage with so many what if's.
Once it was done eating the guardian posed with its great sword behind it in a move to show it was going to unleash a skill.
'But from that range?'
To Seth's surprise from the Elite Shades perspective, One minute he was in front of the dungeon core and the next he was face to face with the Poison Goblin.
*Shining!!*
The sound of a sword cutting through the air was heard plainly.
Following that was a large roar not possible from any animal on earth.
So loud it shook the dungeon walls.
The Elite shade immediately retreated further into the darkness
Seth quickly shifted his perspective back to the Goblins.
It was obvious where the roar came from but along with a smile plastered onto the Goblins face.
'What just happened?'
Seth thought
The Poison Goblin stood with its right hand stopping the blade just short from cutting in any deeper into its chest.
The left hand seemed to hold the shoulder of the Guardian as battle of strength went down.
This was smart of the goblin as on his side he was pulling the guardians shoulder towards himself while pushing the sword away from him.
In a sense of compression.
While on the guardians side, it was repelling, the guardian seemed to winning though, albeit slowly.
But soon enough the guardian launched a kick to the Goblin's torso sending him crashing into the dungeon wall.
With a swift sprint, it ran towards the goblin aiming to pin it to the ground.
Instead before he reached it, the poison Goblin suddenly released a green fog to cloud it's vision.
It was too late for the guardian to retreat so instead it pinned the sword to the wall with less force.
Who'd have known that the goblin only side rolled and once the sword was embedded into the wall, a crushing blow was sent to the Guardian's face.
The sound of something crushing wasn't the Guardian's helmet though but the goblins fist.
Still it refused to lit up as the fist immediately healed at visible speed and instead a kick was sent to the guardians knee.
Bringing its face lower than the goblin and it's position in a bowing with one knee position.
Still though it didn't let go of its sword on the wall.
The Goblin used this chance to launch another punch with its left hand to the back of the guardians helmet suddenly sending its two knees to the ground.
Though it didn't lit up on its sword, the goblin seemed satisfied to see it kneel but irritated at it still gripping on the sword.
It didn't continue to punch and instead stepped sideways and looked down at the Guardian.
A long gash was left on the goblins chest, though no longer bleeding, it was healing, albeit slightly.
Seth was surprised it ended that easily, even more surprised that they won.
The Poison Goblin approached the core and just when he was about to make contact...
The Guardian slowly stood up making crunching sounds as it pulled the sword out of the wall while it made an unsheathing sound and just pinned it to the ground.
All in a calm manner like it didn't just get beaten up
Everyone watched warily as now impending danger loomed over everyone's head, it was obvious, they're all gonna die.
Surprisingly enough the guardian calmly dusted the stones and dust of itself as though it would make a difference to its appearance and picked up the great sword like it was paper.
Calmly inspecting it like some kind of child hurt as he approached the Poison Goblin.
For the first time, the goblin seemed dazed and Seth wasn't a newbie to games.
This was like the round 2 of a boss fight.
A dazzling red glow shimmered along its blade as it spread onto the Guardians body followed by a black smoke about to come out of its body.
It hovered around itself like it was trying to contain the black smoke but it eventually exploded outwards.
