章 37: Chapter 37: Sansa

At this time, Jon had been carrying Sansa for nearly an hour. After arriving at the dragon pit, he placed Sansa on a clean stone and began to think alone about what to do next.

Looking at the entire King's Landing, there is a population of about half a million. In this era that is similar to the Middle Ages, Jon believes that as long as he can blend into the slums, it will be almost the same as a fish returning to the sea.

Although in three months at most, Stannis would use the red woman's shadow magic to kill Renly and seize the army and then attack King's Landing, he could take advantage of that time to escape in the chaos.

But Jon is worried that since he has interfered with the "timeline", although the Northern army is led by Ned, he doesn't know whether Robb's military talents will have the opportunity to be utilized.

If something unexpected happens, wouldn't all my work be in vain?

So Jon thought that he had to leave King's Landing as soon as possible, and take Sansa to hide during this period of time. As for how to escape, an idea suddenly came to Jon's mind.

'Since Junlin has never seen me, can I join the City Watch first and then find a chance to leave?'

Jon's eyes lit up and a smile appeared on his lips.

"Hmm~"

It was autumn now, and the ground was already chilly. Sansa, who was lying on a big rock, groaned and woke up in a daze. She opened her eyes and saw that she had woken up in the open air. Her hair stood on end.

She clearly remembered that she was supposed to be at a banquet, so how come she suddenly lost her memory?

Of course, Sansa, who was not even twelve years old, had never experienced memory loss, but she quickly remembered the story of some robbers who would knock out noble ladies playing in the wild and then abduct them.

Sansa felt the pain at the back of her neck and realized that she might have been 'kidnapped'.

She turned her neck carefully and saw Jon sitting cross-legged beside her. For a moment, she burst into tears.

She did not recognize Jon. She was now certain that she had been abducted by bandits, which meant that she had forever lost the qualification to marry the prince and would at most become a nun in the future. She couldn't help sobbing.

Jon was worried at this time. The situation was really urgent. He had no money on him now, and tomorrow's food and drink was still a problem. Just as he was thinking about where to get some, he heard a whimpering sound coming from Sansa behind him.

Sansa saw the figure turn his head, then stand up and try to walk over by himself. She felt as if her heart was being pinched by a big hand, and her whole body trembled like a frightened rabbit.

"Please don't come over here, my father is Ned Stark, he is the Hand of the King and the Warden of the North, please don't hurt me!"

Sansa wanted to tell Ned's name to give herself courage, but she became more and more scared the more she spoke.

Jon was a little surprised to see her hugging her knees, burying her head in her chest and crying. He did not expect that a girl who grew up in a castle would be so afraid of the outside world.

"Sansa, it's me Jon."

Jon had no intention of teasing her, so he leaned over and patted her shoulder in an effort to comfort her.

Hearing Jon's familiar voice, Sansa looked up and found that the face in front of her was indeed the one she remembered, except that his cheeks were thinner. But she couldn't believe it, so she sobbed and was dazed.

Her green eyes were filled with confusion and her body was sobbing uncontrollably.

Jon saw her looking at him with tears in her eyes, and he straightened up with a smile.

After confirming that it was Jon, Sansa's sobbing quickly stopped, and her sadness and fear disappeared in an instant.

She pulled out a silk handkerchief from her bosom and wiped away her tears, then raised her voice and asked:

"Why are we here?"

Almost instantly, Jon felt the sense of distance that Sansa could display.

Even though it was night and the lighting was poor, Jon couldn't see the expression on Sansa's face, but that face revealing disgust still appeared in his mind.

When she first appeared, Rob, Ned and Arya all called her name, but Sansa was the only one who remained calm.

But he reacted quickly. When Sansa first understood the meaning of illegitimate children in this world, she began to deliberately distance herself from Jon. She always called Jon "my half brother".

The relationship between the two has always been ordinary.

Jon naturally didn't have the habit of trying to please someone who didn't like him, and he didn't care much about the little girl's pride. His mission was to escort Sansa back to the North safely one day in the future.

"Cersei is hunting down our father everywhere. I have sent him and Arya out now..."

Before Jon finished speaking, Sansa asked with a hint of doubt:

"Humph! This is impossible! My father is the Hand of the King, and I am the fiancée that King Robert personally appointed to Prince Joffrey! The Queen cannot give such an order!"

Sansa has completely regarded Joffrey as her fiancé. Coupled with the fact that the little girl is experiencing this throbbing feeling for the first time, Joffrey, through the filter of Sansa's first love, seems to no longer be an ordinary person, but a god who has descended to earth.

It seemed as if no matter where he went, he was radiating the sun's light.

Jon felt speechless as he looked at the girl who was still dreaming of becoming a queen, but now was not the time to argue with her about these trivial matters. From now on, Jon had to think about tomorrow's breakfast.

Seeing that Jon didn't seem to pay much attention to her, Sansa angrily supported herself with her arms and let her legs stick out from the edge of the stone.

Looking down, I saw that the stone was about one meter high.

So he slid down from the stone little by little, and when his feet touched the ground, he stood up with the help of the stone, dusted himself off, and was ready to leave.

"where are you going!"

Jon asked with a frown, but Sansa ignored him and just walked forward.

Jon had no choice but to chase her, grab her arm and ask again

"where are you going!"

Jon didn't control the strength well, and the force he used was a little too strong. Sansa pulled her arm back with her shoulder, but no matter how hard she tried, it was useless. She could only shout at Jon.

"I want to go back to the Red Keep!"

After hearing her confusing speech, Jon was also a little puzzled.

"Didn't I just tell you that Cersei is looking for you everywhere? Why are you going back?"

Sansa looked up at Jon and suddenly realized that Jon seemed much taller, but she quickly changed her expression to one of seeing through everything.

"You said you rescued your father from the Red Keep, right?"

"Yeah, what's wrong?"

"Then tell me how you got in! And how did you get father out?!"

Because Jon had used the power of the system, he couldn't say anything for a while. Just as he was making up an excuse, Sansa said loudly:

"You must be lying to me!"

"And! Shouldn't you be on the Great Wall now? Why are you here? You broke your oath! You despicable bastard!"
