Her doll-like face was framed by soft curls of silvery hair, but her expression was devoid of emotion, her sharp, mechanical eyes scanning every shadow.

A guttural snarl broke the silence. A Dred, crouched on the shattered roof of a nearby house, leapt toward a group of cowering civilians huddled in a corner.

Without hesitation, the puppet unsheathed her scythe in one fluid motion, its blade glinting faintly in the dim light.
