Yako's playful grin faltered for a split second, unable to find the words of excuse- there was a few silence before she spoke. "Madam prophet I had no idea what are you talking about..."

Before Seon could answer, a resonant beep echoed in the room. Yako stiffened as she immediately recognized the sound.

Although her blindfold blocked her vision, she didn't need her eyes to know where the noise originated. She knew it was Justice's stone, Seon watched the blue stone turn into red as Yako lied.

"Why bother lying?"

Yako's lips pressed into a thin line. For a moment, her confident façade seemed to crack. She tilted her head, as if trying to feign indifference.

"When did you know?" she countered, avoiding the accusation with a question of her own.

"I didn't," she admitted as a small smirk tugged at the corner of her lips. "I simply guessed."
