Chapter 7:Dormitory Dynamics
I trudged into my dormitory, exhausted from a long day of classes. Room 304, my home for the next few months, was a space I shared with three other students from Class 3.
As I entered, I was greeted by the usual chaos.
My roommates, Ryker, Kieran, and Gage, were notorious troublemakers. Their powers were as volatile as their personalities.
Ryker, a burly guy with a menacing grin, possessed Super Strength. He delighted in smashing furniture and intimidating others.
Kieran, a sly, agile boy with spiky black hair, could manipulate Illusions. He often created fake versions of himself to confuse and mislead.
Gage, the self-proclaimed "King of Pranks," controlled Electromagnetic Pulses. He loved disabling devices and causing chaos throughout the dorm.
Their antics made my life miserable.
"Hey, Chaos Boy!" Ryker taunted, tossing a pillow at me. "How's your magic trick lessons going?"
I gritted my teeth. "Just leave me alone."
Kieran snickered, conjuring an illusion of himself doing a mocking dance.
Gage chuckled, disabling my phone with a quick EMP burst.
I seethed, my chaos magic simmering beneath the surface.
Emily's words echoed in my mind: "Control your emotions, Tyler. Don't let them get to you."
But it was hard.
As I settled into my bunk, I realized I needed a plan to deal with these bullies.
Josh's words came to mind: "Sometimes, the best defense is a strategic offense."
I smiled, a plan forming.
It was time to take back control.
