By nightfall, Jacob had gathered everyone at Althea's mansion. They shared a warm dinner, and afterward, moved to the lounge, where the crackling fire bathed the room. Lily, now even more confident since confessing to Jacob how she wanted to be his, perched herself on his lap, adjusting her petite ass with a mischievous wiggle. Jacob merely chuckled at her antics, pressing a gentle kiss to the side of her head.

Clearing his throat, Jacob drew everyone's attention. "There's something important I need to discuss with all of you." His gaze met Althea's, who offered a small, reassuring nod.

"Tomorrow, I'll be leaving for the Kingdom of Valtoris."

The room erupted into a mix of reactions.

"What?!" Elara exclaimed, her voice sharp with disbelief. Her usually kind features twisted into a frown. "Why? What's going on?"
