They pulled out the rat that Admiral Rudra had put in their party and disabled him successfully.

The last rat was on the fifth party, which was headed by old monster Vladimir Kravchenko of the top 10 family and 4th-rank Ironclad guild master—Zayd Khalid. The Khalid family was also a top 20 family, though Zayd wasn't related to them.

They pulled out the rat by playing mind tricks and each old monster was experienced enough in terms of perceptiveness and finding out lies.
