My iron clad ability to remain calm was shattering by the second. I cannot let them feed Avery to their fiends. I was slowly but surely losing any ounce of composure I had. I knew it would all catch up to me soon. What on God's green earth am I gonna do?
"You see all these bloody cars?" Jacob gestured to the vehicles.
"Oh wow, no they're hardly noticeable." I said, dryly.
If this is how I'm going out, I might as well use my last breath to talk shit.
A few of Jacob's cronies laughed. Even Jacob's corners of his mouth tilted slightly in a grin.
"Feisty. Say," Jacob stepped closer to the car, "What's your name anyhow?"
I didn't say anything. Fuck him. I don't want to ever hear my name leave his disgusting lips.
Jacob shrugged, "Fine, you ain't gotta tell me. But I bet the little guy in the back seat will." He raised his pistol and aimed it right at Avery.
