章 35: Wanted Claim

The hotel Avond mentioned was a small but exclusive high-end hotel at the city's edge with a lovely ocean view. The entrance was artistically grand, framed by tall, arching doorways crafted from sandy-colored stones. 

Celeste followed Avond inside.

A lingering feeling of excitement and expectation sent blood to her cheeks as they walked under the lanterns hanging along the exterior.

Inside, the lobby was richly decorated. The floors were polished stone, while warm pendant lights hung from the ceiling, casting a gentle glow.

A low wooden reception desk sat to one side, adorned with a tasteful arrangement of fresh flowers and scented candles—a lovely, welcoming sight as they approached the desk.
