章 6: Weapons and powers
Mira gave leo one weapon after another he was able to use war hammer,spear but couldn't use other weapons so well except sword the way he used sword was far more advanced than other weapons including staff 'with some more training he might as well enter into novice swordsmans level'
"Enough leo " said Mira
Leo halted his movements with swords
"We will start training your sword basics and later go on to learn some novice rank techniques "
"Ok but what is novice rank techniques?" Asked leo with curiosity since ne trained in for fighting
"You see techniques and power levels are divided into ranks of :
Novice
Advance
Expert
Master
Grand master
Sage
these each rank is divided into initial, intermediate and advance The way we determine ranks is based on how much and how pure the Mana an individual possess we call these individuals as CRUSADER
This was the first time leo was listening to this information he was kinda overwhelmed but Leo was curious leo so he asked "Then what rank are you in master?"
Mira gave a small smile and said " You will eventually come to know has time comes right now you are just beginning just focus on yourself everything will eventually become clear to you"
Leo was not satisfied with the answe but couldn't throw a tantrum about it so he left the question in the back of his mind started training in the basics
The basics that Mira will train leo in was stances, position and then taught how to
Slash,stab,Chop,Deflect,Block,Parry Riposte,Feint the training continued for days
He had mastered the moves within 15 days with absolutely no flaws this left Mira stunned what took even the greatest genius months or even years to master was done by a kid in matter of 15 days
"since you have mastered the basics of sword then let's build your physical body for foundation for future "
Thus begin the helish training for leo the training included doing push ups,pull ups running it was easy at start as it went on the amount of difficulty increased so much that Mira added double his weight and made him train under the waterfalls she also made him submerge in water ,stay in intense cold weather, be in even hottest part of volcano
Days went by days turned into weeks weeks turned to months and months turned into a year
After a year leo seems turn into a little musculared kid but that's not the best part has he was practising with sword he stopped for a moment stood still and then swung the sword at the big boulder with force the was swing was powerful enough to cut though it and even destroyed a few trees along the way
To Mira it was nothing but the fact that 6 year old child did it was something no one will believe
During this year she focused training leo on hand to hand combat he reached Novice rank in it as for his sword mastery it reached expert rank
Leo learned everything too quick
what he was really good at was sword and hand to hand combat rather putting time and effort into learning other weapons which he might as well learn a single weapon to absolute mastery he kept a backup just in case by learning hand to hand combat he will think about learning them some other time
"Leo come here " Mira called out leo form the hut
Leo entered into hut Mira sitting in crossed leg Position said"come sit down"
Leo sat without any question for the past few he had seen how brutal this women can be for not listening to her command
"Since you have laid down a solid foundation for your self and have also mastered sword to expert rank let's begin the process of entering into the ranks of novice by absorbing mana from nature"
Leo nodded knowing he has enter into the rank of novice first in order to be considered as CRUSADER
"Close your eyes and try sensing Mana in the nature"
Leo did as he was instructed and closed his eyes and try to get a feel of Mana form nature
He put his entire focus into sensing the Energy slowly but surely he sensed mana he felt a tingling sensation on his skin even as if something very subtle force was on his skin
He opened his eyes and said " I can sense Mana"
Mira was shocked on the inside she knew he was a genius but not to this extent for normal people it would take around a month to sense Mana but even for genius it would only take about a week on the outside she acted normal she nodded her head and said
"Good now try absorbing that Mana and bring it to the navel region "
Leo did has she said and tried absorbing the mana bringing it into his body the mana as if heard the command of their king rushed into his body and started flowing like a river in every vein of his body leo felt a warm sensation his body he tried and led the mana into his navel region as it entered into the navel the mana got devoured like there was a black hole in his navel region all the mana in his body absorbed by his navel region instantly leo got strartled but a few seconds there was a release of mana in a black and red form the mana was pure and majestic compared to the mana he absorbed the mana started circulating in his entire body throwing any kind of clogs or waste in his body as well as strengthening his body to a new extent.
Mira watching entire process nodded at how it was going as the waste came out of leo's body she instantly used fire to burn it nothing was left of the waste as if it got vapourised
After a minutes leo started absorbing the mana once again but this time at a much faster rate this time mana that entered into the navel region didn't give a feedback but got stored and slowly filled the entire dantain
As mana reached its limit in the dantain the mana started to circulate in circular motion and slowly got stabalized the moment it got stabalized leo's entire body started to glow with black and red mana the same mana that saved him leo slowly opened his closed eyes his eyes stared to glow in red colour but there was also a hint of black has the glow started to fade leo felt fully energized
Mira started to observe leo and came to a conclusion 'This kid is Absolute Monster '
Mira spoke "how about you go and test your new found powers"
Leo went outside and took his wooden sword and gathered his mana into the sword and swung it at the waterfalls the mana Balck and red got released from the sword and moved forward and instantly spilt the waterfalls horizontally
Leo got suprised and started to feel quite excited and thrill at his new found power so much that he started jumping around he used so much force that he flew 3 meters above the ground but landed safely
But Mira had a frown on her face looking that waterfall that got spilt but started to flow again normally
Mira inner thoughts' That power behind the slash was not that of person who just entered into initial novice rank it was more like an attack from a person of advance rank and the pure mana that he released and it's colour normally mana comes out in the form of blue regardless of how different someone's physique is but his mana is a lot more purer and refined'
Mira sighed "what an intriguing kid ,he is full of mysteries"
