The sensation of awakening in a new body was an overwhelming experience, one that Akizakura (Aki, for short) had no words for. His infantile mind, though newly born, retained a strange dissonance between the memories of his past life and the new existence he found himself in. With a wry smile, he pondered over the situation. "That was tough and painful," he thought. "Good thing I passed out. At least I didn't have to deal with it."
The memories of his mother—the beautiful lady he instinctively knew was his mother—caused a deep blush to form on his infant face. It was an embarrassing thought, but the emotional intensity of his memories seemed to cut through the fog of his newborn consciousness. "I'm suddenly glad I was shut off for a Mular year," he mused, "All praise to the system."
In this strange new world, called Mularkham, every sentient being was granted a system—a personal assistant embedded within them, guiding their growth and understanding of the world. And Aki, now just a newborn in this vast universe, was no exception. Through this system, Aki was slowly absorbing the information needed to understand his new reality. He understood that Mularkham was not the only world; there were at least two others connected to it. The major factions had already expanded their reach across these worlds. The worlds themselves were tied to components of a superior origin that Aki could barely understand. But for now, he had more immediate things to focus on: his family and his identity within this strange, yet familiar reality.
The estate he was born into was known as the Estate of Autumn within the House of Sakura. The name felt comforting to him, yet distant. There were flashes of recognition, but his memories remained fragmented. His emotions, however, were clear. The love he felt for his family was overwhelming, and it filled him with an undeniable warmth. Yet, at the same time, there was a persistent dissonance—an emotional discord caused by his rebirth into a world so foreign yet so deeply rooted in his being.
Aki's mind was racing with thoughts. "I can understand and speak the language here now. That's a plus," he mused. "But this body... it's going to take a while to get used to it. The phantom sensations of my past life still linger, but they're not as strong as before. Thank the system for that," he added mentally with a sense of relief. He wasn't quite sure what the future held for him, but at least for now, he had escaped the horrors of infancy—the messiness of being a "poop machine," as he so eloquently put it. "I've been through the worst part already," Aki thought, letting out a resigned sigh.
With his physical development done, the next hurdle was sorting through the memories of his previous life, the emotions and the overwhelming sensations tied to that existence. It was a lot to process, and Aki knew that emotional stability would be key if he were to navigate this world.
"I need to focus," Aki thought, as he mentally steeled himself. "One thing at a time."
And then, just as he was about to give himself a break, his attention was caught by a set of system notifications. They were flashes of data that, in any other situation, would have been ignored, but now, they seemed like a lifeline. His system, the invisible assistant embedded within him, had detected emotional dissonance in Aki's psyche. And so, the system offered a solution: it would take Aki into his Mind Realm, a space within his soul where he could process these emotions more effectively.
[System Notification: Transfer to Mind Realm Initiated...]
The world around Aki blurred and shifted, as if reality itself was bending. His physical senses faded, replaced by a strange, almost serene stillness. And in a moment of disorientation, he found himself in a new realm—his Mind Realm.
The space was vast, yet small in comparison to the infinite possibilities Aki had known in his past life. It was a blank canvas, one shaped by his Origin, the YOR component that resided within him. The information was overwhelming, but Aki's attention was immediately drawn to the system's interface, which displayed a strange set of data:
Total space: Relative to soul level—currently, the space was minuscule.
Origin: YOR
Level: Zero
Life forms: None except the host.
Time dissonance: 1:10 (meaning for every hour outside, it was equivalent to 10 hours within this realm).
Constructs: A small videograph.
Aki blinked, taken aback. He was now in a space that was within his very soul, a realm of thought, emotion, and inner reality. The possibilities were endless, yet he was limited by his current emotional and spiritual development. And yet, something about it felt strangely familiar.
"Alright," Aki said aloud to himself, trying to ease the tension. "This is interesting. I have a whole realm inside me. This is new, but kind of cool. I have a sense of something grand, something bigger than me. YOR is really turning out to be more than I expected."
His thoughts flickered to the strange term "life forms and constructs." What was this all about? It was alienating, but Aki did his best to make sense of it. It felt like something more, something he wasn't yet ready to fully comprehend, but the system's calm responses assured him that everything was under control.
The system then brought up a hologram—a 3D projection of Aki's life, starting from his birth. It was surreal. Aki saw his infant form being held by his family. He could feel their emotions—love, fear, tenderness—as if he were experiencing it all for the first time. His heart swelled as he witnessed his mother's gentle touch and his father's joyful, albeit awkward, affection. In particular, Aki saw his father spinning him around playfully. It was a strange and exhilarating sensation, one that brought a smile to his face, even as the child on screen was subjected to playful reprimands from the rest of the family.
It was in these moments, watching his life unfold before his eyes, that a shift began to occur within Aki's psyche. Initially, he watched these moments as a third-party observer, detached and analytical. But soon, something deeper happened. The emotions of the child—the joy, the laughter, the fear—began to sink in, affecting Aki more profoundly. His initial discomfort, the dissonance between his past life and his new one, started to dissolve.
The once overwhelming wave of unfamiliar emotions became his own. As he began to watch his life with a first-person perspective, his connection to this new world solidified. Aki could feel it—he was no longer an outsider to his own life. The memories, the experiences, the emotional spectrum—they were all his.
"Is this the power of acceptance?" Aki wondered, as the video continued to unfold before him. The system had played a large role in stabilizing his emotions, but it wasn't without his own willpower. Slowly, Aki embraced his new existence, no longer burdened by past lives or false expectations.
"Alright," Aki thought, his resolve hardening, "I think I've got a grip on this now. Let's move forward."
The system then pinged another notification:

Aki couldn't help but chuckle. Even in a world as vast and strange as this, the little things remained constant. He would deal with the larger challenges later. For now, he had already taken the first steps in his journey—a journey that had just begun.
To be continued...
I’d be posting auxiliary chapters soon to explain the understanding of world, factions, sects, kingdoms and more. Also, a separate chapter would be allowed to House of Sakura.
