章 60: Chapter 60 - Incoming!

"It seems we have a survivor". Zyran lowered his head while his eyes immediately shot towards a specific spot in the darkness. With slow casual steps, he entered the darkness while igniting a fire.

There on the ground layed a verdant with half of it's body burnt beyond recognition. It's breathing was slow and weak while it's red eyes stared into the nothingness Infront of it, truly a heart wrenching sight.

"Such a pity"

With nothing but bone chilling coldness in his voice, Zyran stopped right next to the dying verdant and bent his knees. He then stared at it with unhidden amusement while his lips began to part, "It hurts, doesn't it?". He whispered to it while he lifted his finger, which immediately ignited into hypnotising dancing blue flames, " You simple-minded verdant actually thought I was trapped by you, while in actuality..." His finger slowly dropped near the verdant's head, "You were the one's trapped with me".

'Sshhhhhh!'

'Squeaaaak!'
