DESTINY GAMES is going to be a wild ride. I'll admit that it won't be for everyone. But if it is not clear after the first 3 chapters, I will state it now: Kelvin is the way he is because he was raised that way. Don't blame him. Blame his upbringing. Blame the Patriarch. The story is essentially a competitive tower climb. There are 100 floors in the Tower of Destiny which corresponds to 100 games. The end goal is power and longevity. But not everything is as it seems. There is the struggle for the rings of immortality outside the games and also the influences of otherworlders. Like I said, it is going to be a wild ride. Give it a chance. Join me on this ride, or at least inform me as to why it is not for you. Either way, leave a review.

The novel is really good, the only thing making it 3 stars for me are the characters and world background, you can’t really feel the characters, only the mc is thoroughly described…tho that may change later, as for the WB, the surroundings aren’t really described much, it would be really awesome if the author puts some effort into that, although i know the city Kelvin lives in is cyberpunkish it just feels like a wasteland to me without descriptions OR interactions (for example in the latest chapter i have read the mc just teleports to his house after the gate is described.). I would’ve gave the novel less stars but the writing quality really holds it up.

The story starts of as wild but the details are clear and understood and as always the world building is great and the Mc is good and the refrences are perfectly timed, the story itself has a great potential som I’m looking forward for more.

Alright, I have read 5 chapters so far and it seems interesting. Naturally it helps to know that this is the author of GREED which I like very much. Also the "power system" or well the glimpse that we were allowed to see seems rather interesting. Fans being power (at least temporary power) is rather unique. At least I haven't seen that anywhere I think. If I have then it wasn't very memorable. It also brings a unique perspective on the hero/villain world building where an awakened is either a hero or a villain (in society) depending on both their ability and personality. Since fans are power and Heroes have fans this could really make for interesting situations and characters. So I'm excited. One thing that I hope you do better than in GREED is the placement of the pay wall. I think that it was just too early in GREED. Or well at least considering how you wrote the beginning it was too early. I think more people would have been interested if the free chapters started later. I don't know how much control an author has over that or if its webnovel that has a say in it. However I think that you should carefully consider where to put it here.

Brother, is it good to start another one if you haven't finished the other novel yet? I have seen many authors, the quality of their novels has decreased like this. 90% confirmed that the second novel has more filler content than other novels. such as conversations or thoughts between fights - women or insignificant characters' thoughts about the mc - forced situations where random characters try to engage with the mc. And everything that is not related to the story and is repeated in all novels. In short, just pay attention to that part of talking or additional explanations and people's thoughts exactly in the middle of the fight (I'm begging you), you want to give only a pure fight with notes about the movements after the fight. I know you have your own thoughts. Good job. Good luck.

Since you kept asking for reviews here it is. Jokes aside, awesome mc, the ability isn’t just the typical copy everything become OP. Also good comedy. Interesting version of the normal tower climbing trope.

After 50 chapters, I can now give a decent review of Destiny Games. Reading through the book summary, I got the impression that this novel had 2 main inspirations: Lord of the Rings and Supremacy Games. The only similarity between LOTR and this novel are the rings and one to rule them all. As for Supremacy games, there are definitely more similarities, but honestly this novel is much more interesting. The characters are not annoying, the world feels deeper, and the power system, while kinda generic, has room to grow and also pushes the MC to continuously improve himself. And considering that the amoral MC will do anything to survive, the games become actually interesting instead of just a showcase to show how great Felix is. Also, knowing Dmadlord, he will cook up some twists and turns down the line as well. Overall I recommend for people who are looking for a dark progression fantasy.
