章 16: Quarter finals

The Arsenal side was heavily suppressed by Juventus and throughout the first half Arsenal only broke through the defence once but it was cut short by a tackle from the defensive midfield who roughly tackled Kaylin

Kaylin was not seriously injured due to his stamina and physical fitness and the defender got a yellow card for the foul

The Juventus side visibly reduced their attacking intensity not wanting to deplete their physical fitness this early in the game

Through out the first half Juventus continued to dominate and with an earlier two goal lead from earlier

The second half began and Adewale was substituted in, the coach realising that the Juventus forward and midfield would overwhelm the defence if this way of playing continued

He decided to change the play style to a more defensive one and focusing on exploiting counter attack

At the 62 minute of the game , Arsenal got a chance for a counter and Willock upon receiving the ball in the midfield immediately sprinted forward and dribbled past the last line of defence

Leaving him one on one with the goal keeper increasing his speed he was soon in the box and drawing out the goal keeper he slotted the ball into the goal

It's moments like these that make Willock such a special player. His pace, his skill, and his finishing are just top-notch.

The game continued and Juventus began playing a more defensive ball, while the Arsenal players continued to mount pressure them

5 minutes later Adewale got a pass in the right flank, the full back tried to defend against him but using his agility and speed to his advantage he dribbled past the defender and immediately crossed the ball I not the box

Towards the waiting Kaylin in the box, who immediately hit a volley and sent the ball straight into the net

What a finish! Gabriel Jesus with an absolute stunner on the volley!"

Adewale's cross was inch-perfect, and Kaylin made no mistake. Arsenal has equalized and are back in the game

The game resumed and in the 75th minute Adewale received a pass from Willock and dribbled into the box, before directly slotting the ball into the net and giving Arsenal the lead

No sooner about 5 minutes later Kaylin also got a through pass and sprinted into the box and released a shot into the net giving Arsenal the lead 4-2

The game ended 4-2 even though Juventus tried to score the Arsenal goal keeper and defence were able to keep the ball out of the net
