Ichigo's decision was clear the moment he walked into the Kurosaki living room the next morning, his schoolbag abandoned by the door. His brows were set in determination, his gaze meeting Harry's as though to confirm he was ready for whatever lay ahead.
"I've decided," Ichigo said firmly, his voice steady despite the weight of his choice. "I'll train. If what you're saying is true, then I don't want to sit around waiting for trouble to find me. I want to be ready."
Harry smiled, nodding approvingly. "Good choice. You've got a lot of potential, Ichigo. Let's make sure you live up to it."
Before anyone could respond, a familiar feline figure sauntered into the room, tail swishing. Yoruichi's golden eyes glinted mischievously as she padded over to Ichigo. "Well, if the kid's serious, I suppose it's time to step things up."
With that, the air around Yoruichi shimmered, and in an instant, she transformed into her human form.
Ichigo's jaw dropped, his face flushing crimson as he stared at the stunning woman now standing before him. Yoruichi's confident smirk didn't falter as she leaned slightly toward him, her purple hair cascading over one shoulder.
"Surprised?" she teased.
Ichigo managed a strangled, "What the—" before Yoruichi burst into laughter.
Meanwhile, Harry gave an appreciative nod, clearly unbothered by the situation. He leaned toward Yoruichi and whispered something in her ear. Whatever he said made her freeze for a moment before a grin split her face, and she giggled like a fiend.
"Careful, Potter," Yoruichi said, her tone both amused and intrigued. "You're lucky I find your audacity entertaining."
"Who isn't?" Harry replied, flashing a charming smile.
As the exchange continued, Yuzu entered the room, stopping short when she saw Yoruichi. Her big eyes blinked in surprise, and then she pouted, clearly envious. "She's so pretty," Yuzu mumbled, crossing her arms.
Karin, on the other hand, gave Yoruichi a quick glance before turning away with an uncharacteristically pink hue dusting her cheeks. "Tch," she muttered. "Whatever."
Yoruichi smirked at the reactions before turning to Kisuke, who handed her a neatly folded set of clothes. "I suppose I shouldn't traumatize the kids too much," she said, slipping on the attire with ease.
As the morning progressed, Kisuke presented Harry with a small collection of runes etched onto a scroll. The markings seemed to pulse with energy, faint wisps of reishi swirling around them.
"These are inscriptions designed to attune your body to reishi," Kisuke explained. "They'll let you channel spiritual energy directly, a crucial step if you want to master these abilities."
Harry studied the scroll, his expression one of eager curiosity. "And how do I apply them?"
Kisuke pulled out a small device resembling a pen. "I'll channel reishi through this, and you'll need to inscribe the runes onto your skin. It's a bit... intense, but nothing you can't handle."
Harry raised an eyebrow. "Intense, you say? Sounds like fun."
It didn't take long for Kisuke to begin channeling the energy. Harry deftly inscribed the runes onto his arms and torso, feeling the wild and untamed power course through him. He paused for a moment, adjusting to the sensation.
"This is... different," Harry remarked. "It's raw, untamed—nothing like the magic I know, which is more... orderly, like a river flowing in harmony."

Kisuke handed Harry another set of scrolls, this time filled with detailed notes about the powers of each spiritual race. Harry nodded his thanks, his mind already racing with possibilities.
Over the next few weeks, the Kurosaki household transformed into a makeshift training ground. Ichigo's schedule was grueling but effective. Yoruichi took charge of teaching him Hakuda and Shunpo, her natural agility and expertise pushing him to his limits.
"Faster, Ichigo!" Yoruichi called, easily dodging one of his punches. "You'll never land a hit on me moving like that."
Ichigo growled in frustration, doubling his efforts as he tried to match her speed.
Meanwhile, Kisuke and Tessai focused on honing Ichigo's immense spiritual reserves. They crafted seals to weigh him down, forcing him to manage his energy more efficiently. Once he gained control, they introduced him to Kido and Zanjutsu, helping him refine his technique with spells and swordsmanship.
Ichigo's progress was steady, and he soon awakened his Zanpakuto, Zangetsu—a powerful blade accompanied by two manifestations of his powers: a Hollow and an older man representing his Quincy heritage.
Harry, on the other hand, immersed himself in mastering Quincy and Shinigami abilities, using the scrolls and Kisuke's guidance to learn quickly. The Hollow aspect, he decided, was best left dormant for now, waiting until Ichigo's training caught up so they could tackle it together.
The days passed in a blur of training and camaraderie, the air buzzing with purpose. For Harry, it was invigorating to be learning something new, to be immersed in a world filled with challenges and opportunities.
"This is what I've missed," Harry mused one evening, watching Ichigo spar with Yoruichi. "Learning, growing, facing down threats. Life with a bit of chaos—just the way I like it."

"No promises," Harry replied, grinning.
