I approached Roland's office door, and just when I was about to knock on the door I heard his voice, and my hand froze in the air.

"Have you scored a goal with Anika? How long are you planning to play games with her?"

"Time will tell," I heard Jonathan's response, and I knocked on his office door and then opened the door.

They froze as soon as their eyes landed on me. I peer my gaze at Mr Roland and then at Jonathan.

What did I just hear?

So Jonathan is playing games with me? I knew the kiss meant nothing to him. So he just wants to get under my panties and get away?

Fuck, I was a fool for trusting him and believe he's a good man. I was so quick to judge him as a nice person.

"A-Ani-Anika?" Mr Roland stuttered, and I wore a smile on my face.

"I'm sorry for interrupting your discussion. Mr Roland, I need your signature on this document," I said, tendering the documents in front of him.
