章 123: Chapter 123: Primeape vs Nidoking Battle

I leaned against a tree, arms crossed, eyes on the battlefield ahead.

Two giants stood in the clearing, neither willing to back down.

Primeape, veins bulging, breathing ragged with fury.

Across from him, Nidoking, towering and unmoved, tail slashing the air like a whip.

Shadow, perched lazily on my shoulder, let out a yawn, his red eyes glowing faintly in the fading light. "I'm hungry," he muttered, voice a lazy drawl.

"We'll eat after," I replied, keeping my eyes on the two titans as they circled each other.

Shadow's form shifted slightly, his tiny claws flexing as he crawled up to my head, settling there with a bored sigh.

"What a drag," he muttered, falling into an instant sleep, his body rising and falling with the rhythm of his shallow breaths.

I almost laughed—almost—but my eyes snapped back to the battle as Primeape dug his claws into the dirt.

The air grew thick, crackling with tension. Primeape lunged, moving faster than his size should allow, his fists blurring into a flurry of Fury Swipes.

Each strike was a direct challenge to Nidoking's size and power.

His fists hammered against Nidoking's broad chest, but the massive beast barely flinched.

Thick, armored skin absorbed the blows, and for every swipe Primeape landed, Nidoking stood firm, his nostrils flaring with quiet contempt.

The ground trembled beneath Nidoking as he shifted his weight, his massive horn gleaming as he barreled forward.

With a brutal thrust, he aimed a Horn Attack

straight for Primeape's gut. The impact sent Primeape skidding backward, dirt flying in his wake.

But there was no hesitation in those bloodshot eyes—only fury.

Primeape roared, fists clenching, muscles rippling with raw energy as he sprang to his feet.

He wasn't done.

Nidoking, satisfied with his hit, stomped forward, his tail smashing into the ground with each step, but Primeape had already recovered, darting around with unsettling speed.

The rage inside him boiled, fueling every movement. He dropped low, sweeping his leg in a vicious Low Kick.

The hit connected.

Nidoking's legs buckled, and for a moment, the earth beneath him trembled as the massive beast crashed to one knee.

He snarled, eyes burning with murder.

Primeape didn't waste a second.

He leapt back, breath ragged, fists ready, but Nidoking wasn't about to let that insult go unanswered.

With a furious bellow, he launched into a Thrash, his entire body a chaotic whirlwind of brute strength.

His massive frame slammed into Primeape, horns and tail striking with devastating precision.

Primeape took the hits, body rattling with every impact, but instead of backing down, the pain ignited something deeper.

His Anger Point reached its peak, his fury now beyond control.

Bloodshot eyes locked onto Nidoking with a deadly focus, and he lunged, his fists coming down in a brutal Karate Chop aimed at Nidoking's neck.

The chop landed with a resounding crack, enough force to make Nidoking's muscles quake.

But Nidoking was no ordinary opponent.

He shook off the blow with a growl, his body pulsing with venom.

Poison seeped from his pores, the toxic mist swirling in the air as his Poison Point activated.

I could see it then—the slow creep of poison beginning to sap Primeape's strength. His movements slowed, fists heavy.

It wouldn't be long before it took him down.

But Primeape wasn't beaten yet.

With a roar that shook the trees, he launched into a final attack, his body trembling with exhaustion but his rage giving him one last burst of power.

He grabbed Nidoking by the waist, muscles straining, and with an ear-splitting yell, hoisted the massive creature into the air.

For a brief moment, time seemed to stand still.

Then Primeape brought Nidoking crashing down with a Seismic Toss that shook the ground.

The earth trembled under the impact, dust rising into the air as both Pokémon hit the ground, unmoving.

The battle was over.

I pushed off the tree, my steps slow, deliberate, as I approached the two fallen titans.

They had given everything, and in the end, neither had won.

I pulled out two Pokéballs, their weight familiar in my hand.

With a flick of my wrist, I tossed them.

They clicked open, red light swallowing the unconscious Primeape and Nidoking inside, sealing them away.

The forest fell silent again, the air thick with the aftermath of destruction.

I stood there for a moment, feeling the weight of it all.

Then I glanced up at Shadow, still draped lazily over my head, his soft snoring barely audible.

"Let's go," I said, my voice calm, but a smirk tugged at my lips. "I'm hungry too."

Shadow stirred, still half-asleep. "Finally," he muttered, stretching lazily. "About time."

I chuckled under my breath, the tension of the battle fading into the background as we turned towards the forest.
