Lyse eyed him warily. He was tall and young, with piercing blue eyes and Sandy brown hair which was tousled stylishly. His clean shaven face did not spark up any memories in her and she was certain that this stranger was in the wrong room. Then his next words surprised her.

"Hello Lyse," the man said, his voice soft yet commanding. "It is good to see you."

Lyse stared at him, her confusion growing. She did not recognize him at all. "Who are you?" she frowned, her voice barely a whisper.

The man smiled, a knowing glint in his eyes. "Don't you remember, Lyse? My feelings are hurt that you have forgotten me already." He said. "I am your husband."
