Rebecca's heightened Observation Haki sharply tracked Vergo's movements.
She didn't retreat but instead gathered a powerful surge of fire energy into her giant sword, transforming it into a massive golden claw, like the talons of a mythical sun bird.
"Sun God's Claw!" Rebecca shouted, swinging her flaming blade down onto Vergo's staff.

A deafening explosion erupted as fire energy blasted outward, consuming the entire chamber in flames. Even Caesar was caught in the blast, recoiling from the intense heat.
Seeing the inferno, Vergo shouted at Caesar to escape. Caesar didn't hesitate and made a run for it, but Vergo was momentarily distracted. Rebecca seized the chance, delivering a fierce kick to Vergo's chest.
Flames burst forth again, their intense heat nearly melting Vergo's Armament Haki.
Rebecca's fruit was not a true Devil Fruit; its power depended on her inner energy. At this point, her true energy was powerful, further amplified by the flames of her Mera-Mera Fruit Golden Crow form.
Rebecca rushed forward, unleashing a flurry of sword slashes, each one infused with fiery energy. Vergo struggled to keep up, parrying her blows as best as he could.
Under the relentless assault, Vergo's Armament Haki began to melt, and finally, Rebecca's sword broke through his defenses, slicing through his staff and landing a blow directly on his chest.
The flames intensified, burning through his Haki, and the tip of her sword finally pierced Vergo's skin.
A look of shock spread across Vergo's face. "My Haki... it's been burned away… How is this possible?"
"Nothing's impossible for you, Doflamingo's lapdog. Die!" Flames erupted around Rebecca, blazing outward from her body and setting the Smile Factory ablaze.
Meanwhile, Caesar was scrambling away from the burning building. He glanced back, cursing under his breath. "What the hell is Vergo doing? Is he trying to burn my entire lab down? Why hasn't he dealt with that damned fire-wielding woman already?"
"No, if this keeps up, all my research will be destroyed. The data on the Fish-Fish Fruit, Mythical Zoan model—Yellow Dragon—can't be lost to these flames."
Caesar quickened his pace, heading for a secure room. Alarms blared throughout the Smile Factory as fires erupted in various areas, spreading chaos and destruction.
Distant explosions and roars filled the air as flames consumed the factory. The intense battle inside was leaving a trail of devastation.
"Useless fools," Caesar muttered as he reached another hidden chamber. He frantically searched through stacks of documents, tossing them aside until he found what he was looking for. These were his precious Devil Fruit research materials, but he had no time to gather them all.
Finally, he found a small locked box hidden in a cabinet. His face lit up with relief. "As long as I have this document, it doesn't matter if the whole factory burns down."
Just as he breathed a sigh of relief, a figure appeared beside him, and the box in his hand vanished.
Caesar paled, looking up in horror at the intruder.
Before him stood a young man holding the famous sword Rorobai in his left hand, the box in his right.
"Who are you?! Give me that box! It's useless to you; only I can open it!" Caesar shouted in anger.
Koby glanced at the box, channeling the power of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit into his palm. With a single motion, he shattered the box, revealing the documents inside.
"The research report on the Yellow Dragon model of the Fish-Fish Fruit, Mythical Zoan type, by Dr. Vegapunk." Koby read the label with a smirk. "Looks like I got what I needed without much effort."
Koby stashed the documents in his coat, then turned to Caesar. "Mr. Caesar, come with me."
Caesar's eyes widened in recognition. "You're… that Marine traitor, Koby?"
"So you know me? That makes this easier. I assume you'll come along without making a fuss?" Koby replied with a calm smile.
At Koby's words, Caesar immediately turned and bolted for the exit. But in an instant, Koby appeared in front of him, delivering a powerful kick to Caesar's head.
Caesar tried to transform into gas, but Koby's Armament Haki rendered his powers useless. Koby's kick sent him flying, crashing into the wall.
"Mr. Caesar, I suggest you cooperate," Koby said, walking up to him. He grabbed Caesar by the neck like a rag doll, then activated his lightning-speed technique to exit the Smile Factory.
From outside, a scream echoed back to the battlefield where Rebecca and Vergo were still fighting. Rebecca glanced toward the source of the scream, then delivered a final powerful kick to Vergo, sending him flying. She transformed into her flaming Golden Crow form and flew away from the factory.
Meanwhile, Leo had seized the opportunity amid the chaos to rescue the princess and lead the Tontatta Tribe away from the factory. Along with Cyrus, they boarded a small boat and sailed off into the distance.
Boom!
The Smile Factory continued to explode, with experimental subjects fleeing in every direction. Vergo ignored the escaping captives, focusing solely on finding Caesar.
Caesar was the mastermind behind the Smile Factory's operations, and Vergo knew that losing him would spell disaster.
But despite searching through the wreckage, Vergo found no trace of Caesar. Finally, one of Caesar's subordinates informed Vergo that he had been taken away.
Vergo demanded to know who had done it, but the subordinate had no idea, admitting he hadn't even seen the culprit's face clearly.
Left with no choice, Vergo returned to report the incident to Doflamingo.
After hearing Vergo's report, Doflamingo's face twisted in rage. "Damn that Rebecca! She's ruined everything."
Vergo added, "Dover, Rebecca now has the strength to overpower me. If she continues to grow, she'll become a real threat to you."
Doflamingo's expression darkened further. "And what about Caesar? Who took him?"
Vergo replied, "Dover, could it have been Chiba? He's been after the Devil Fruit research materials for some time, and we've been delaying him. He might've decided to take matters into his own hands."
Doflamingo's eyes narrowed. "If anyone would have the guts to do this, it would be him. Let's go pay Chiba a visit and see what he has to say."
"If he's really responsible, then he's about to learn that I, Doflamingo, am not someone to be trifled with."
With that, Doflamingo stormed off toward Chiba's residence, while Leo and the Tontatta Tribe found refuge with Chiba, having barely escaped the chaos of the Smile Factory.
