章 31: CHAPTER 31

Tate eyebrows slowly pushed down to his eyes when he heard Chris' words. He already knew Chris being here was trouble, but listening to the nonsense he had to say made Tate more angry.

He was surprised that Chris was able to recover so quickly from the fight, then he remembered Sir Connor was the only person that had a top tier special treatment for his fighter, although it was miles away from what the agencies were using but it was far better than the normal hospital medication.

Chris continued seeing Tate didn't respond straight away nor show any sign to his words.

"I hope you understand what that means!"

Tate's lips formed a little smile.

"Yeah. I do."

Tate blocked Lora view completely. They were here to get him injured so he wouldn't be able to participate in the state tournament which was ten days from now, that way, Apex Grove arena would be asked to find a replacement for Tate, so Chris would probably take his place.
