章 33: NOTHING ELSE

"Here you go," Charlotte said, taking the towel from the sofa. "It fell off."

Sebastian's face flushed as he immediately took the towel and awkwardly walked to his room. "I am sorry," he apologized over his shoulder, embarrassed.

Charlotte sighed deeply as he left, her eyes processing what she had just seen. "Damn, he's big," she whispered to herself, letting her impulsive thoughts win.

Just then, Sebastian re-emerged from his room, dressed in shorts and a shirt. "I am so sorry once again," he said, his eyes apologetic. "I didn't expect it would be you or –"

"No, I am sorry," Charlotte interrupted, standing up from the sofa. "Mr. Raymond dropped me off here. He said you were sick and that's why you didn't come to the office, and he informed you of my arrival."

Sebastian's lips parted, realization dawning on his face. "Oh, he did," he lied, his eyes narrowing. "I just forgot."
