“Tynan, Abigail,” Paviar addressed the two people who seemed hesitant to follow us. “Follow us. You’ll be our hostages.”

After a few seconds, Tynan nodded, knowing this was a chance for him to prove he was trustworthy, that he really was on our side.

And so I, Paviar, Rosa, Jaxon, the other Alphas, and our warriors entered the cave with Tynan and Abigail following us like hostages as per Paviar’s suggestion.

We began our descent and walked through the cave, but never had we imagined the depths of it.

“Rosa!” Paviar called his daughter for the tenth time since we entered, and they began casting spells to make a breakthrough.

We had been walking for more than an hour, yet we seemed to be stuck here.

I should’ve known Dagon would make it difficult for outsiders to navigate through his hideout.
