Looking surprised, Rosa asked, “Bring Dad to see the corpses?”

“He might find somethin' we’ve overlooked,” I explained.

Rosa thought about it for a while until she screamed at the top of her lungs at her dad, who was waiting in my car, “Dad! Come here!”

Both Arra and I winced from hearing her shrill, over-the-top scream.

These witches had no regard for our sensitive werewolf hearing ability.

Paviar ran toward us with joy in his eyes, looking like a happy puppy being summoned by its owner.

By the time he reached us, he was sweating and panting, and his whole face was red due to his exhaustion.

“Look at you feeling tired after a few meters of running,” Rosa looked at the sweating red ball that was her dad and said with disdain, but we all could see the helpless smile on her lips.

“Then you have to cook more for me, Daughter, so I‘ll have more energy!” Paviar smiled smugly, making Rosa roll her eyes, and Arra laughed.
