[Lottie, how about training with me today?]

I typed and hit the send button.

Her reply came a short while after I sent the message.

[Sorry, but I’m busy today. Maybe tomorrow if I have the time. I’ll let you know.]

I sighed as I read her reply. It had been a few days since the news of her getting engaged to Theo was spread.

Even though she had told me it was just part of her plan, my heart still felt heavy. I couldn't feel happy about it, no matter what.

I was worried about her safety and also didn't like the fact that she would be close to Theo. The thought of her being romantic with that bastard, like in the photos she had posted, made me want to destroy everyone and everything around me.

Standing up, I took my car key only to be stopped by Noah.

“Alpha, where are you going? Your injuries haven't fully healed yet,” he said.

“I need some air,” I told him. I felt suffocated whenever I thought about those sweet photos of them.
