“Hayden!”

My study door was slammed open together with my dad’s yell.

Now what? I thought to myself.

My dad was furious. His whole aura was menacing and dark. It could be seen that he was trying hard not to smash everything within his reach or even turn into his wolf.

“That Charlotte,” he growled.

Hearing her name made me sit straight in my seat and eye my dad suspiciously. “What did you do to her?”

“I gave her money to stay away from you, but she was a fucking rude, disrespectful, and ungrateful bitch. Not only did she not take the money, but she slapped me with the cheque I gave her and asked me to give it to you instead!” He punched the wall, leaving a huge dent due to the force.

“You did what?” I asked in disbelief.

Dad turned to look at me; his anger didn't even disappear one bit after destroying the wall in my study.
