Arriving at Milla’s ward, I saw her and Sofia looking haggard and pale, and their breathing was very weak, like they were on the verge of death, yet I felt nothing. Not even an ounce of guilt. Maybe I had become heartless due to their mistreatment for the three whole years I was here and even after I had left the Red Claw Pack.

Nate started checking Milla and Sofia while Hayden, Alpha Marcus, the doctor, and I stood at the side, watching him working silently.

He came up to me with an empty syringe, and I shrugged helplessly. I offered him my arm, and he took out my blood. Hayden and Alpha Marcus looked shocked. I guessed they didn't expect me to help them, even going as far as giving them my blood willingly.

Nate opened Milla’s mouth and injected half of my blood in the syringe into her mouth so she could swallow it, then did the same to Sofia. My blood would wipe out all the wolfsbane in their system and help to reconstruct their failing organs.
