章 127: Sign of Divinity

He had a greater scheme planned out, didn't he? What was it? Why did he recall the healers, why did he unleash a plague?! She knew the answer to that too. It was because of her, wasn't it?

Tears started to stream down her face. She felt... Helpless. Dimitri ushered the knights away so that Adeline could use her powers in peace, but when he came back, he saw her crying. 

"Adeline-"

"No, he went too far..." She said... In her anger, frustration, guilt and determination, Adeline let out a blinding light.

Before Dimitri could ask what she meant, a brilliant burst of light erupted from her, so intense that he had to shield his eyes. 

She shined no less than a star in the sky. The sheer amount of Holy Power she oozed was incredible. No one ever witnessed something like that ever!

Her light covered the river... The entire river. The plants that had withered along its banks stood tall and lush once more, their leaves glistening with dew.
