On Sunday, Father Huang had business to attend to at the company and did not return home for dinner. 

Jiang Wangya was already seated at the dining table when a servant asked, "Madam, should I call Miss Xiaoyan down for dinner?" 

Jiang Wangya paused, setting down her chopsticks with a frown. "No need. She's an adult now, does she still need others to invite her to eat? How shameless." 

"Leave," she ordered impatiently. 

She picked up her chopsticks again, only to hear the servant's respectful voice, "Miss Xiaoyan." 

"Oh, look who's finally awake," Jiang Wangya sneered sarcastically. 

Huang Xiaoyan glanced at the food on the table and laughed mockingly. "Jiang Wangya, you've had the servants prepare all the dishes you love and all the ones I despise." 

Jiang Wangya feigned confusion. "Xiaoyan, weren't you never picky before?" 

"Hah," Huang Xiaoyan scoffed coldly.
