Xia Lu sat in front of the vanity, examining herself carefully in the mirror.

"This guy... pushing so hard..." she muttered softly, but in her heart, she knew very well that Zhou Mingchen didn't mean to push her. He most likely did it unconsciously in a moment of anger, and who knew she'd be so easily shaken.

"You... what are you doing?"

Zhou Mingchen walked over, took her injured arm, "Does it still hurt?" his tone unexpectedly gentle.

"Much better..." Xia Lu responded softly.
