Aiden glanced at Ariel and saw how tense she looked, he moved his hand over and placed it on her thigh.

"Relax, love. I know what you're thinking, I'd never do that to you," Aiden assured.

He left his hand on her thigh and used his other hand to drive.

Ariel might be quiet, but in her mind, she was at ease with Aiden's assurance and she felt a lot calmer with his hand that was on her thigh.

Their headlight soon illuminated a graveled path, and their tires soon started to crunch over the graveled path as Aiden drove towards it at a slowed pace.

Ariel looked ahead and soon realized that they were on a Ranch; she could hear the sounds of horses, cattle, and even sheep all around the area.
