Oliver sat with Violet stroking her hair while she slept. Wishing she could be his. She brought him so much happiness, he didn't even know this feeling was real. It almost felt human. Had his father felt this way about his mother before she died? Or any of his wives?

Oliver lived with Gabriel after his mother passed away. and he couldn't remember much about his aunties relationship. His father came home only a couple times a month. Most of his memories consisted of him and Gabriel. They used to be close. Their mother's were close too.
