As the battle between Liu and Kai reaches its climax, the gate that holds back the beasts of the dungeon suddenly shatters, unleashing a horde of ferocious creatures upon the city. The skies darken as winged beasts swoop down, their piercing cries echoing through the streets. The ground trembles as massive, scaled creatures emerge from the depths of the dungeon, their jaws gaping wide with hunger.
Mei's eyes widen in horror as she gazes upon the chaos unfolding before her. "No... this can't be happening!"
Liu's face sets in determination. "Mei, we have to get out of here, now!"
But it's too late. The beasts are already upon them, their claws and teeth snapping wildly. Liu and Mei are forced to fight for their lives, their weapons flashing in the fading light.
Kai watches the chaos with a twisted grin, his eyes gleaming with malevolence. "This is the true power of Ignis," he cackles. "And soon, the entire city will burn!"

Liu charges his sword with qi and attacks Kai with a powerful strike, but Kai is too quick and manages to evade the attack. With a swift motion, Kai sends Liu flying into a nearby building, the hunter's body crashing through the wall with a loud thud.
Mei's eyes widen in horror as she sees Liu's body lying motionless amidst the rubble. She knows she has to act fast to save her friend and turn the tide of the battle.
With a fierce cry, Mei launches herself at Kai, her sword flashing in the dim light. But Kai is ready for her, his eyes gleaming with malevolence as he summons a wave of fire to block her attack.
The flames engulf Mei's sword, and she's forced to retreat, her weapon trembling with the force of the blow. Kai takes advantage of the opening and strikes Mei with a powerful blast of magic, sending her flying across the battlefield.
As Mei struggles to get back to her feet, Kai begins to chant in a voice that grows louder and more intense. The air around him begins to distort and ripple, as if reality itself is bending to his will.
"Liu, no!" Mei cries, her voice trembling with fear. "Don't let him finish the spell!"
But Liu is still lying motionless, his body battered and bruised. Mei knows she has to act fast to save him and stop Kai's evil plan.
Mei's eyes widen in shock as she realizes the true extent of Kai's plan. "You can't be serious!" she exclaims. "Merging the dimensions would destroy entire worlds!"
Kai's expression remains cold and detached. "I am perfectly serious," he replies. "And it is necessary. The dimensions are already collapsing, and this is the only way to save them."
Mei shakes her head, horrified. "You're mad!" she cries. "You can't just sacrifice entire worlds like that!"
Kai's eyes flash with anger, and he raises his hand to strike Mei down. But then, he seems to hesitate, and his expression changes to one of curiosity.
"Tell me, Mei," he says. "What do you know of the dimensions and their collapse?"
Mei hesitates, unsure of how much to reveal. But something about Kai's expression makes her trust him, and she begins to explain.
"The dimensions are like layers of a cake," she says. "Each one is separate, but they're all connected. And when one layer collapses, it affects all the others."
Kai nods, his eyes gleaming with interest. "Go on," he says.
Mei hesitates, but then continues. "I've seen it happen before," she says. "Worlds disappearing, entire civilizations gone in an instant. And I know it's happening again, right now."
Kai's expression changes, and for a moment, Mei sees a glimmer of doubt. But then, his face hardens, and he turns away.
"It doesn't matter," he says. "I will complete the spell, no matter what the cost."
Liu's attack catches Kai off guard, and his sword slices through the air, striking Kai's staff and sending it flying out of his hand. The spell is disrupted, and the distortion in the air begins to dissipate.
Kai's eyes widen in shock and anger as he stares at Liu, who is now standing tall, his sword still trembling with the force of the blow.
"You fool!" Kai snarls, his face twisted in rage. "You don't know what you've just done!"
Mei takes advantage of the distraction to scramble to her feet and join Liu's side. Together, they face Kai, who is now crackling with dark energy.
"We're not going to let you continue with your evil plan," Liu declares, his sword at the ready.
Kai's response is a cold, mirthless laugh. "You think you can stop me? I have the power of Ignis on my side!"
