"Auntie, I'm Shinichi's classmate. My name is Cyrus." Cyrus approached Fumiko, Shinichi's mother. He knew that the only thing that could save Shinichi now was Migi, the Parasite Beast. However, with Shinichi's parents present, Migi couldn't reveal itself. If things continued this way, even the best hospital wouldn't be able to save Shinichi once his brain had fully deteriorated.
"I'm sorry, but I understand how you must feel right now. However, in this situation, even if we take Shinichi to the hospital, we won't be able to save his life. If you trust me, let me take Shinichi and leave. After all, your injuries are severe too."
Cyrus picked up the bloodied arm from the ground and wrapped it in his jacket.
"Can you save Shinichi?" Fumiko, overwhelmed by grief, could hardly hear Cyrus. Thankfully, Shinichi's father, Haruo, was still somewhat clear-headed despite the shock that had aged him by ten years in an instant.

"Please, you must save Shinichi," Haruo said, fighting back his grief as he gave Cyrus a deep bow. He then helped Fumiko down the mountain.
"Don't call the police. It will only cause more trouble for Shinichi."
Haruo stopped and nodded in agreement.
As soon as they left, Migi emerged and looked at Cyrus. "Thank you, Cyrus. If we had delayed for three more minutes, even I might not have been able to save Shinichi."
"The heart is completely pierced; it can't be repaired within minutes. Looks like I'll have to integrate with the heart."
Migi transformed into the shape of a heart, detached from Cyrus's right arm, and entered Shinichi's chest.
"I'll block the wound and restore the heartbeat, then handle the blood circulation and repair the blood vessels. That should work."
"Parasite Beast abilities can be used like this as well," Cyrus thought, learning a new technique.
At this moment, the fusion progress on his panel reached 100%. However, despite acquiring the transformation ability, Cyrus couldn't repair and replace the damaged heart like Migi could.

The phone in Shinichi's pocket rang. Cyrus retrieved it and answered the call.
"How is Shinichi?" Haruo's anxious voice came from the other end.
"His vital signs are stable for now. The situation is good. I estimate he will wake up within a day."
Haruo sighed with relief upon hearing this. "Thank you so much. When Shinichi wakes up, tell him to come to Tokyo's Third Affiliated Hospital to find me. His mother is here for observation."
"Will Auntie's hand be saved?" Cyrus asked.
"The doctor said the wound is clean, and since the arm was preserved and wasn't contaminated, and was delivered promptly, her arm should be saved. However, it won't be as flexible as before." Haruo's voice carried an edge of fear.
Thankfully, Cyrus's warning had prevented not only Shinichi's but also Fumiko's possible death from blood loss.
"That's the best outcome under the circumstances. I'll pass on your message to Shinichi when he wakes up."
Cyrus hung up the phone and sat beside Shinichi, making sure that wild animals in the mountains wouldn't carry him away.
